The explosion is awesome;

I don't think you have to worry too much about possible lag; slower-timelines are easier to render than longer-timelines for as far as I know(and low-spec PC users are used to a bit of lag anyways).

Well...its very good but is it a going to be an actual zombie exploding or is it timed?
[Meaning, kill the zombie and it explodes or walk in the room and zombie explodes].

Definitely, also the campaign your working on looks cool from the look of that one room. I might have to give a try when it is done.
